Abu Dhar Mosque
Abdul Rahman ibn Auf said, "The Prophet once bowed for an exceptionally long time in his prayer. When his companions later asked him for the reason he said the angel Gabriel had brought him the good news that whoever prays for the Prophet by saying "may the 'blessings of the God be upon him,' Allah will repay the man who
does this by personally praying for him."
According to Al-Samhoudi, the mosque might have been built on the site where the Prophet made the long bow.
Location
It lies to the north-east of AI-Buhairi gardens about 150 meters away from the crossroads at the beginning of Abu Dhar Street.
It was rebuilt by the Saudis. Two small public parks were made to surround it from the north and south.
